A croque in the hand is worth two in the bouche! They look amazing L., and perfect for a food fight!! Little known fact: they were invented during the French Revolution by a pastry chef who had a shop that overlooked the square where the gentry got beheaded by the guillotine. After observing the heads piling up in a basket one day he went "Hold on a seccie...I could...why don't I...and thus the 'Croquembouche' was born.
